Using the World Wide Web (www) all sorts
of useful software can be downloaded. Some is free, or request a
discretionary contribution, some is available for trial at home without
payment on the understanding that you will pay for the software if you
like it, and some is available only for payment. In some cases there
is a somewhat less complete version available without payment.
Payment is usually by credit card over the
internet. I have no hesitation in purchasing software over the internet
using my credit card.
